Donald Sawyer III I've been on Bandcamp hard because it is all independent artists. I love the creativity and indie artists are free to make what they want. I self published a fictional book in November about a homeless girl chasing her goal of being a hip-hop dancer. I am an independent artist too. That being said Birocratic is my guy. I love jazz and hip hop equally. All his music works for me. Due to the instrumentation and the fact he said he didn't sample, it's classic. I listen to him all the time. Genius stuff. Favorite track: Layback (feat. Paul Sottile, Jr.).

Don't Leave 03:56
Slipout 03:31

One of my fans actually described the tone of this project better than I could. It's about accepting change, as not all change is good or bad. Life transitions whether we like it or not. It's our choice to acknowledge it, embrace it, and move to our potential.

The music on this record was first written three years ago in my oceanside hometown, Cape May, NJ. I never released it out of fear, because it sounded different from my old music. As I went back home year after year, I kept editing and adding to these songs. They're an accidental mood journal of my time there; an acknowledgement of how we grow even if we aren't sure that we want to.
